1-Year Limited Warranty

Product: Willox SplitSpool (the “Product”)

Warranty provider: Thunder Cheese Limited (“Willox,” “we,” “us,” “our”)

1) What this limited warranty covers

Willox warrants to the original end customer (“you”) that the Product will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal, intended use for one (1) year from the date of original retail purchase (the “Warranty Period”).

If a covered defect arises during the Warranty Period and you follow the claim process below, we will, at our option, provide a replacement unit (same model, color, and configuration when available, or a functionally equivalent replacement).

2) Who is covered

This limited warranty applies only to the original purchaser/end user of the Product purchased new from Willox or an authorized sales channel, and is valid in the United States and Canada. This warranty is not transferable.

3) What is not covered (exclusions)

This limited warranty does not cover:

  • normal wear and tear, cosmetic damage, or minor variations that do not affect function
  • damage caused by accident, abuse, misuse, negligence, improper installation, or improper handling
  • damage caused by use outside the Product’s intended purpose or outside normal consumer use
  • damage caused by modifications, unauthorized repairs, or disassembly
  • damage caused by liquids, fire, extreme heat, or other external causes
  • loss, theft, or free/promotional items
  • issues caused by use with incompatible chargers, devices, adapters, or accessories
  • adhesive performance issues caused by unsuitable mounting surfaces or improper surface preparation (for example, dusty, porous, textured, or delicate finishes)

4) Proof of purchase required

To receive warranty service, you must provide proof of purchase showing the Product and purchase date. Acceptable proof of purchase includes, for example:

  • an Amazon order number and/or a screenshot/PDF of the Amazon order/invoice page showing the order number, date, and product name; or
  • a Shopify order number/confirmation; or
  • a receipt from another authorized seller showing the product and date.

5) How to submit a warranty claim

Subject: Warranty Claim – Willox SplitSpool

Please include:

  1. Full name
  2. Shipping address (US/Canada)
  3. Proof of purchase (as described above)
  4. Product serial number (located on the barcode sticker after "S/N:")
  5. Description of the problem (what happens, how often, and under what conditions)
  6. Photo(s) and/or video clearly showing the issue
  7. If relevant: charger model/wattage and device model (helps diagnose charging behavior)

We aim to respond within 2–3 business days.

6) What happens after approval (replacement fulfillment)

If we confirm a covered defect during the Warranty Period, we will ship a replacement unit to you. Replacement orders may be fulfilled using Amazon Multi-Channel Fulfillment (MCF) or another fulfillment method. Packaging and carrier may vary.

7) Returns

At this time, Willox does not process mailed-in returns for warranty claims. Do not mail products to us unless we explicitly request it in writing. We may provide troubleshooting steps and request additional photos/videos to validate the defect before issuing a replacement.

8) Shipping, duties, and taxes

For approved claims, we will cover standard shipping for the replacement within the United States or Canada. You are responsible for any duties, taxes, or fees that may apply to cross-border shipments, if applicable.

9) Replacement warranty coverage

Any replacement Product provided under this warranty is covered for the remainder of the original Warranty Period or ninety (90) days from the replacement ship date, whichever is longer, unless otherwise required by law.

10) Anti-fraud / claim limits

We may require the serial number and additional photos/video, and we reserve the right to limit replacements to one per Product serial number.

11) Disclaimer of implied warranties

To the extent permitted by applicable law, this limited warranty is the exclusive warranty provided by Willox and replaces all other warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

Some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitation may not apply to you.

12) Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Willox will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to lost profits, lost data, or loss of use, arising out of or related to the Product or this warranty.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation may not apply to you.

13) Your legal rights (US & Canada)

This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary by state, province, or territory.
